Back in the day when I was a kid, at any given time McDonald’s signs would say“__ billion served.”
McDonald’s would change the sign after every 5 billion and it seemed that number was changing
all the time.
In 1993 the signs started displaying “Over 99 billionserved”
because there wasn’t enough room on the signs for three digits.
Today some of the signs say “Billions and BillionsServed” instead.
It’s funny that McDonald’s didn’t thinkahead to how
they would have 100 billion+ customers someday and would need that extra digit.
Today McDonald’s gets so much traffic that they don’t have to count it anymore.
There’s no doubtin anyone’s minds that they are #1 for fast food.
Imagine having a business like that and not having to worry about traffic or a loyal fanbase.
The secret to this success is to have a system in place that is easy to duplicate.
