Before I get into the whole reason for E X P Loyalty, I want to give a background that lead to its formation.
Krista and I (Brian) moved to Montana with our two children in 2005. Back in California we were both professionals working for someone else; putting in long hours, making good money doing the “Silicon Valley thing” but we knew we wanted to move back to Montana. Think about it. Silicon Valley has a culture of entrepreneurship. After nine years, we had achieved some success. The harder we worked, the more money we made with home improvements, promotions and raises, but there is more to life than working for someone else and working on a fixer upper. We were not fitting into the other parts of California. We were not into buying bigger houses, boats, luxury cars, but we used our time in California well visiting national parks, beaches, and taking weekend getaways to Seattle and San Diego. However, most of the people we met were working hard and just getting deeper in debt. It was an endless cycle in which most Americans are already trapped and can’t see how to escape. What is even scarier is that we have a whole college system that trains people to think this is the only way to earn an income.

Before our move, we researched endless business opportunities and decided to join a friend of ours building an ecommerce business. From here, we transitioned careers from Fortune 500 corporate life and to the world of being our own boss.
